Osteoarthritis
In 2009 my left little finger started to pain at the extreme joint near the nail. After sometime pain has gone but it remained bent. I showed to an orthopaedic and he said it is osteoarthritis and only surgery can correct it. After sometime my right little finger got the same problem. Now my left ring and middle finger have slight bent in the joint

Check with a physician and rule out chances for rheumatoid arthritis. If RA present, other joints also may get involved, so prevention is better than cure. Consult with an occupational or physiotherapist for range of motion and flexibility exercises.

Splinting the fingers may help to prevent the deformity. An occupational therapist will help you in that.
