Do I still have to take alive if taking this drug. Does it's anti inflammatory properties help other parts of the body other than intestines ?

Hello... Well yes it's an anti inflammatory drugs but it specifically prevents cyclooxygenase and prostaglandin from the colon.  It's specifically given when you are suffering from ulcerative colitis or chrons disease...Need further details...Thank you
