How do u rule out otosclerosis vs SNHL ..there was much confusion between diagnosis went for multiple opinions...

An audiologist can rule it out by doing an audiometry test. With the help of which he/she can easily tell you the diagnosis.

You have to do an audiogram..... Snhl is nerve deafness, Otosclerosis is usually conductive deafness but can present even with mixed hearing loss and in advanced stages as Pure SNHL
