Me and my husband are planning for baby . However i am currently borderline obese . My height is 165 where as weight is 83 .
What are the effects of obesity on child and me ?
Is it safe to lose some weight before planning a baby or is it irrelevant

According to your height, your Body mass index is= 30.34. This is obesity. It will affect on hormonal cycle. It's better you plan to reduce your weight. There is no harm to get pregnant in this stage. But to avoid future problems, make weight reduction program simultaneously. Dr. Anis.

YES IT IS OBESE. you can resort to better lifestyle and sleep pattern. weight reduction definitely helps in making you conceive as well but make sure its gradual. Take prenatal vitamins.
