Overbite correction
I'm a 29 year old female. I have protruding upper incisors which I would like to straighten and align with my lower teeth. I am getting married next year and would like to correct my teeth before that, and preferably without needing to wear braces. I would like to know if it would be possible to straighten the teeth with surgery. If at all it is possible, how much would it cost me? What are the risks associated with it? And how much of a difference would I be able to see?

Well I would say from the pictures that you had posted, your teeth are not that ahead of normal position , your smile is good, in fact little fullness of lips is considered to be a sign of youthfulness. Still if you want through opinion visit an Orthodontist near by, best solution can only be provided with proper clinical evaluation and judgement. Thanks

Hi,instead of braces, you may even opt for root canal treatment and metal-free crowns, but consult an experienced dentist for the same.

Braces or aligners are the best option to straighten and align teeth. Since you have a year before the wedding, you can still consider them. Aligners are transparent, removable options instead of braces. If you are totally against braces, you can consider getting dental veneers. They are are cosmetic options which will give you the results in 3-4 appointments. Since veneers are artificial parts in the mouth, they require more maintenance and some eating restrictions. The difference you see depends on what do expectations are. You need to discuss your final look with the dentist before proceeding with treatment.

If you don't want to wear braces... You can try aligners, which are completely invisible. They are removable and also don't require regular visits. You can also enjoy whatever you want to eat with them. And you case don't seem to be difficult. Surgery is done to correct skeletal disorder after growth is finished and looking at your photographer you don't have a large skeletal disorder. If you want only to align your teeth we can do that with braces and without braces using aligners.
