Overjet -braces and tmd
In past I have suffered from tmd...now after getting my occlusion back my orthodontist told me that I need to correct my overjet to get a beautiful smile... But she said I need to uproot two teeth from Upper row of teeth to get that perfect smile. Is uprooting two front teeth during the correction of overjet will affect my previous tmd problem? Is it possible for braces the to correct my overjet completely and give me a perfect smile?

Hi No need to worry...uprooting the two roots is the part of orthodontic treatment..it won't affect your tmj problem..uprooting and correcting overjet is the gradual process and it may take 12 to 18 months for the ideal correction and perfect smile

Being a Orthodontist I will advice you to get the braces treatment done to overcome your overjet problem and own a beautiful smile that you deserve. And don't worry about uprooting those particular teeth, that's a normal part of orthodontic treatment and it is a gradual process which will not harm your TMJ as your orthodontist will take care of it.all the best.
Next Steps
get the necessary X rays done like OPG and Lateral cefalogram or CBCT as advised by your doctor

Removing/Uprooting the two teeth in order to create a space where the front teeth will be moved is a common procedure in braces treatment. It helps in reducing the overjet and the space will be closed t the end of the treatment. For your TMD, the last few months of braces treatment are very important for you. Where your relation of upper & lower teeth (occlusion) will be corrected.
Health Tips
Braces treatment is a gradual process to move the teeth. You need to have patience. Consult your orthodontist if in case your TMJ pains during the treatment.
