Oximeter reading advise
I bought a new oximeter , bcz the waveforms of the pulse were coming low , the waves shown were low so bought this , same in this. So checked and compared spo2 and heart rate . Both of them equal. Any reason why low waves in grpah . Earlier they were higher . Thanks

Hello , The waveform is not to be taken seriously . The pulse oximeter is a device used to measure the oxygen saturation levels and pulse rate .

The wave in the oximeter does not correspond to how ur heart works...it is just to show that the meter is collecting the information n processing it to show the result

It's a small equipment just to tell saturation and pulse rate only ....nothing more ....
