Heart rate 40... showing 1degreee av block in holter ..but asymptomatic..do I need urgent pacemaker dual Chmbr or can rely on drugs ,doctor gave orcibest ..hw long can we delay pacing ?pt is reluctant to do

Generally we don't do pacing for first degree AV block. It must be 2 or 3rd degree to get heart rate of 40. Type of pacemaker depends upon age and activity of pt. Dual chamber is better.
