Pain beneath the right shoulder blade
I've been having pain in the area beneath my right shoulder blade(near to the spine) for the last 3-4 days. There is a 2 second contraction and a surging pain moves from top of the blade to the bottom when swallowing saliva ( no problem while eating, chewing or drinking) or while running. There is absolutely no pain when I try to press and feel the affected area or

It appears to be a spasm in the upper back muscle. Spasm is a painful tightness of the muscle (coz of jerk or injury). Apply heat and gently stretch the muscle.
