Pain during keeping leg straight
I am having this problem in my left leg towatds the left side down from the waiste... when i keep my leg straight while sleeping or when bending the uppar half of my body keeping the leg straight it cause a shooting pain starting from below the hip and feels like travelling down to the calf muscles... feeps like something is being pulled from within... m not able to sleep since last so many days because of this problem... i have taken a lots of painkiller bt nothing seems to work... it is very uncomfortable... though i dont have problem while walking... this happens when keeping the legs in straight posture.. Plzz help

This looks like a case of sciatica . In this problem there is a piece of your intervertebral disc which has slipped and is pressing on the left nerve. and that is the reason why you are getting shooting pain.. Yl

Your symptoms are suggestive of disc problem with some nerve compression , we call it PIVD disease. But it needs to confirmed with further detail history and clinical examination plus some investigations.
