I have faced such may be thrice till now... Went to local physician he gave pain killer and asked to check uric acid level..

Hello, it may be due to in growing toe nail,so now go to genral surgeon. Before that dip your legin warmor hot water so that pain subsides n easy to examine n if required to cut corners. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND.ok.
