Pain in Breast
My wife is having pain in breast from last 6-7 days. What could be the reason?
Currently her Vitamin B12 was very low so she is taking vitamin D and B12 medicine.

Please note ,if she is not breastfeeding & if pain is in both breasts or on any one breast.If the pain is on both sides and she is in her pre menstrual phase,it is a common occurrence before periods ,so wait till she gets and done with her period
Then let her examine her breasts herself( in slight forward bending position) and if any doubt ,get.clinically examined.
Next Steps
For pain relief she can take the following medication, provided she has not allergic to the medication & has no liver disease: Tablet D O L O 650 one tablet twice daily for ,2 to 3 days.
Health Tips
Please note if there is any discharge from nipple,any swelling in the breast or axilla. If there is any family history of cancer of breast, ovary or colon in particular or any other cancer, please get ultrasound both breasts and a mammogram and consult.
