Pain in left knee area
Hello Doctors, Recently I have started facing pain in left  knee area.. I feel the pain while walking, climbing stairs and while working.. only time I feel relax is while sleeping.. my age is 33.. please let me know, wht could be the cause of the pain? Thank you in advance

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. I would like to examine & investigate you in detail. Rule out Hypertension, Diabetes or any other metabolic disorder. Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Your symptoms need to be evaluated in conjunction with clinical examination. Knee pain can be due to multiple reasons.

Get an x-ray done for your knee and see a orthopaedician for assessment.he will guide you further what to do

Do you have any previous history of injury to same knee?

If yes, then it could be your ligaments in knee. You need to visit nearby Orthopaedic Surgeon for better evaluation.Till then avoid cross leg seating and squatting. Can do ice fomentation.

Hi anonymous patient, the reason for the pain in the knee can be due to various pathologies. In your case, assuming the absence of injury as it was not mentioned in the question, this could be chondromalacia patellae. Where there is too much stress on the underside of the patella during the activity which causes pain, more so while climbing up stairs.
