Hello Sir,
I do agree left shoulder and left arm pain is one of several heart attack symptoms.
But, the given symptom is present in multiple diseases one of which is heart attack.
Typically, in heart attack the given symptom is accompanied by one or all of these symptoms: Breathlessness, Tightness in the chest, Profuse Sweating, Nausea or vomiting or urge for toilet.
Again for developing cardiac attack there has to be prior presence in the body of one or many of these risk factors: Long standing hypertension, Diabetes, Smoking, Abnormal Cholesterol Levels, Obesity, Family history of heart disease.
So, before concluding about anything we should first check up for heart tests as follows:
Next Steps
Lipid profile 12 hr fasting every 6 months
Fasting Blood Sugar level every 3 months
Check blood pressure every month
Do echocardiography and stress test now and then if normal then repeat at least every 2 years.
