Pain in lower femur
Case of chondromalasia. I read its related to kneecap. Why does it pain me when the patella move towards the lower part of femoral cavity whereas it does nt pain much in upper portion of femoral cavity .

Pain in Chondromalacia depends on which region the lesion is on Patella. So the location is a deciding factor. Most people have pain during mid or higher flexion of the knee. Also it depends upon the gliding or tracking of patella in the groove of femur.
