  4. Pain in Pelvic area. Continuous pain?

I was having pain in sides of my pelvic region from quite some time but since it wasn't that grave so never consulted a doctor.But the pain was gentle and continued for few days so I thought better to consult a doctor who did a tv Ultrasound n suggested it's PID.I was given vaginal suppository with couple of oral tablets, however my periods arrived and I couldn't start the medication.As soon as my periods got over I am having pain in the entire pelvic region from 2 days along with pain in the back and lower waist. I started the medicine yesterday but the pain is still there. Is there anything I need to be worried about? What is the reason of this continuous pain ?
