Pain in right hand thumb
Hello doctor, I am having severe pain in my right hand thumb. I am not able to perform any action and facing difficult to hold any stuff. This is happening from 1 month back but I holded one heavy item because of that my thumb got hurt and now my full hand is paining. In this pendamic situation I am not willing to go and consult doctor. Please guide me how will I get relive and what is the reason of this pain. I didn't get injured in thumb, pain started suddenly.

Kindly get your sr uric acid done. Since there is no history of injury either increased uric acid could be responsible for the pain or more commonly inflammation of tendon of the thumb. Use thumb spica splint. Ice application 4 to 6 times a day. Pl share yoir uric acid report so that i can guide you further

Too much use of the thumb due to domestic work and gadget use. Give rest, use thumb spica splint.

Well don’t worry your condition is treatable. If you say that you didn’t injure yourself then it could just be inflammation around your tendons or just a simple sprain. For now you need to apply a splint/brace to the thumb with ice application and anti-inflammatory medicine (painkillers) . Rest is very important
