Pain in right leg

Asked for Female, 20 Years

Hi, It could be nothing but I've had the flu for a week now. But when I cough i get a sharp pain coming from my right knee cap that shoots towards my foot, sometimes I get it in my left but not as often as my right. I have noticed this when trying to pass a stool aswell.. I'm worried that it's something bad Thanks
