Pain in spine
Ystrday i was doing biceps ex wid rod(barbell curl) wid 50kg wght.it was superset as each 8kg was removd after 3 reps.Wen it was compltd i sudnly realised pain in uper thoracic spine & midle chest(sternum);it felt lyk a gas problm as pain was of stifnes.i managd 2 do ex with light wght nd left gym aplied dynapr gel at nyt hot bath today but no rslt

While your doing concentrated exercise for a particular muscle ,there are many other muscles that  co-contration to support your posture .Barbell curl needs a great effort on thoracic muscles to support ur body against gravity and resistance. You could probably have got a "spasmodic muscle" response from the continuous muscle action .
Next Steps
Gentle stretching of thoracic and pectoral muscles followed by soft tissue release with definitely help you . hot fomentation and local application of some pain relieving ointment will also help
