We understand your feeling and your relations condition.
But ask him not to worry backache at this young age is not too worrisome. It might be a sprain or a spasm. If it has been after a fall then sure he need to go to a orthopedic doctor. Just plot a doctor on your practo app and ask him to consult him once for a better approach.
