Pain on left side neck, back shoulder
I have been having this pain on the left side. Consulted dr who said it's to do with ortho or gastric. At times there's numbness in the hand. At time subsides with pan 40 or fresh ginger. Underwent traction therapy for spondilitis

Hello dear Most importantly every neck pain is not cervical spondylosis. And your saying pain in neck, back and shoulder in itself creates a doubt in favour of the same. The balance is tilted more in favour of a shoulder pathology here. If you could answer a few quick questions i could make a definite impression: 1. How and when did the pain start? 2 Have you had long standing neck pain from time to time before the present scenario? 3. Is the pain worse at night? 4. Does lifting the arm above the shoulder increase or reduce the pain? 5. Have you had any recent injury to your shoulder? 6. Do you have any medical problems? 7. Do you experience dizziness or vertigo? 8. Has your grip got weak? 9. When did you attain menopause? 10. Are you on any medications and have you had any injections in and around your shoulder?

Looks like cervical radiculopathy , needs clinical evaluation to determine the severity . Start with neck exercises , good posture and hot compresses. Antiinflammatory medicines and neurotropic medicines will help

Your symptoms point towards a cervical spine issue. In simple terms, nerves to your arm at your neck might be getting pinched. A detailed consult could help with zeroing in on a diagnosis.
