Painful toenails, not ingrown or fungus
My son experiences pain while I'm cutting his toenails. He cries everytime I cut them. He has done this ever since he was a baby, he's 6 years old now. I have always made sure not to cut too short or cut the skin while trimming. I have cut the nails while dry and have cut them when wet, he still cries everytime I cut his toenails. He does the same with fingernails but they are not as bad as the toenails. Is he really experiencing pain or is it a ruse he uses to get me not to cut his nails?

Hi seems your son is little frightened abt the act of cutting nails... make him learn to cut by himself gradually.. in due course it will subside
