Pelvic groin pain
I had spotted a bulge of about one inch around groin in lower abdomen 2 years back.. I had food infection that time and was treated with antibiotics. I found the bulge vanished after a week or two. Ultrasound came as normal since 2 years.. US spotted cystitis once and likely complex ovarian cyst once. Last 2 times completely normal. But since 2 years I am getting pelvic pain and left lower abdomen pain in groin area on and off .. especially when my bladder is full or when my tummy is full or during urine infection it gets worse and before periods it gets worse. Gynaec has suggested to ignore that .. but I can feel the pain anytime when pressed hard. I am afraid of going for any more specialist as they suggest expensive tests which might be irrelevant and every scan and blood test including RFT, Urine test , TFT, etc came back normal but usually Urine test shows Albumin high with no other traces. Please advise.

You get CT Scan abdomen and pelvis. If it’s normal you need medical treatment or assurance only.

The SYMPTOMS you have described are indicate urinary INFECTION. Now if URINARY tests di not show signs of INFECTION that suggests that fungal Infection or other chronic infectious cause  need evaluation. Also there are other possibilities which cause such SYMPTOMS like bladder calculi, bladder inflammatory causes, pelvic inflammatory diseases etc.

Another thing you need to understand that Gynecologist is not the right specialist for your problem.  problem with ladies is that even for a mosquito bite they go to Gynecologist. u need to consult the right specialist to find the cause without unnecessary investigation. unnecessary tests happen more when wrong specialist is consulted. you need to consult either a general surgeon or Urologist. Also if every investigation is done after understanding why it is done then you will not be misguided. Don't worry. discuss in details, understand everything in details. ask more questions. question every test. but from the right specialist.
