There is a difference between defined relationship and undefined relationship.  Parents, siblings,  your lecturers etc are defined relationship,  where they care and love you and also they are concerned about your growth & progress.  Friends, neighbours,  shopkeepers etc are undefined relationships where they are not obligated or concerned about your progress. They about residing like co-passengers travelling with in a train journey. When they get their station they will get down and you move ahead You will get new co-passengers continuing journey with you. What is your priority?  First work on that.  Do you want to work on completing Engineering and study further or start working OR do you want to worry about the friend and stay where you are sacrificing your own life. You have to take a call. Not having best friends is something to do with your interpersonal relationship management,  confidence etc. You do an introspection to identify your strengths and limitations. Consult a Counsellor for help, if required.
