I would advise you to meet a general surgeon to asses and evaluate piles. You may require corticosteroids, ointment, cream and laxatives as a medical treatment, there is also surgical options in treatment. The following steps may help during this period:
- Do not strain during bowel movements
- Reduce weight and achieve a healthy weight as per your BMI
- Eat food rich in fiber and bran based cereals.
- Have laxatives for strain to be reduced during bowel movements
- Sitting on a donut ring cushions can reduce the pain while sitting.
Visit a general surgeon for proper assessment and evaluation of the hemorrhoids.
