Pilonidal cyst
It might be pilonidal sinus but whatever it is, its healing and i am sure it is not getting worse. Negilible release of pus. I am also taking antibiotics. I  clean the wound everyday 2-3 time. Is surgery still necessary? HISTORY- a small hollow valley like formation with only a layer of skin, painful to press into. it been two months or so but then it develops a pimple like formation overnight on the same spot.

Pilonidal sinus doesn't heal spontaneously. Antibiotics wouldn't play any role. Consult a general surgeon and go for surgery.

Need to examine to rule out other causes. If it is Pilonidal sinus the complete cure will be only surgery. Antibiotics will only buy time.
