Had a small pimple inside eyelid on left eye it is somewhat irritating , I Use glasses mo contact lenses

There are multiple causes of small cyst/swelling on the eyelid. Its better if you can get yourself evaluated on a slitlamp during physical consultation. A painful swelling which is of acute onset can commonly be a stye.

Till you show to an ophthalmologist, start doing dry hot fomentation for 5 minutes over closed affected eye 2 to 3 times a day. Plus apply Moxifloxacin eye ointment on affected part in afternoon & night.

Dont forcefully try to squeeze or clear the pimple on eyelid margin.

Meibomian gland dysfunction. Hypersecretive type with block of the opening. It occurs frequently in young persons of both sexes, more in females.
Hot compresses provide relief with buds (johnson) at the site if sweeling for 2 to 3 minutes. Digital massage after hot compresses help in expelling of sebum from meibomial glands.
If both fail, then plan medical intervention.

Few leading questions
1) since how many days that swelling is there ?
2) is the swelling painful on touching ?
If the swelling is Painful and since few days only
Then do hot fomentation ( Take clean cloth and make it hot and apply over that swelling ) and also apply Ocupol eye ointment over that swelling once at bed Time for 7 days , Refresh tears eye drop 4 times a day for 7 days , it should subside
If the swelling is painless and progressing and is there since few months and it just giving irritation
Then also use Refresh tears eye drop 4 times a day for 2 weeks + Ocupol eye ointment once at night for 2 weeks
If it doesn’t subside which are most likely chances in this case , then you will have to consult

Painlful swelling will subside by use of medications , painless and long term swelling will require either Photo of the eye or consultation
