Pimples after accutane
Hey doctor I had completed 6 months of accutane treatment in december2015 and now i have come across 5 to 6 pimples again. Of late, i have had a stressful life and have done some rigourous exercising to lose weight. What could be the reason for re-emergence of pimples keeping in mind that i had not even 1 till last week and what should I do now?

Hi..... Wash problem areas with a gentle cleanser. Twice a day, use your hands to wash your face with a mild soap and warm water.... Avoid certain products, such as facial scrubs, astringents and masks, because they tend to irritate skin, which can worsen acne. Excessive washing and scrubbing also can irritate skin..... Avoid irritants. You may want to avoid oily or greasy cosmetics, sunscreens....Don't pick or squeeze blemishes. Doing so can cause infection or scarring. Consult Dermatologist...

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Accurate was preventing pimples. You need to take care of certain things like avoid oily and spicy foods. Use a mild soap or a good exfoliating facewash in the morning and a facewash like ahaglow in the night. Drink plenty of water. Consult a dermatologist in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
