Pimples, scars, hairfall
I had lots of pimples during my college days and I had taken skin treatment at Cutis clinic in the year 2007 (i dont remember the doctor name now). Pimples had almost gone and there was no scars as well. Then after few years maybe after 2years of treatment it all started once again and now there are less pimples but more face scars(very dominant on cheeks) and even i have black and white heads on nose and chin. From past one year my hair started thinning. If i try with coconut hair oil massage and wash my hair, there will be more hairfall everytime I apply oil. So I have reduced applying hair oil. Kindly suggest me the best solution.

Hi! Acne / pimples occur mainly due to hormonal imbalances which causes an overproduction of oil and cells inside a skin follicle. They block the opening of the skin pore and cause the follicle under the skin to swell and become red.  There are many over the counter medications available in pharmacy but you need to use skin products which are most suitable to your skin. Avoid taking anti-acne medications without knowing your skin type.. Treatment of acne includes medicines to reduce the breakouts, use of skin products such as face wash, cleansers, moisturisers according to your skin type and a whole range of  procedures like peels, laser therapy to reduce the current outbreaks and clean the skin, extract blackheads and whiteheads and clean clogged pores. They are safe and do not harm your skin in a long run. While your hair mostly depends on your genetics;  stress, hormonal imbalance and poor diet have a great influence on your hair health and appearance. Start by following a good diet - Eat adequate amount of protein. Your hair is made up mainly of proteins. Include skimmed milk, cottage cheese, lentils in diet. Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin B are other important nutrients for great hair health. So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet. Next important step is to follow good hair care - Oiling your hair with a mixture of oils like olive, sesame, coconut and castor oil keeps provides moisture to your hair and prevent them from drying and breakage. Once in a week apply a good hair mask. You can mix and prepare different types of masks using green tea, olive oil, milk, gooseberry,  etc. Condition your hair using organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Rosemary tea once in a while.
