Pitutary Macro Adenoma
I have been diagnosed with Pituitary Macro Adenoma. The doctor are advising me for surgery of the tumour. Please let me know the following points 1. Will there be any danger to life? 2. How the surgery will be done? (Through noise by laparoscopy or any other way). 3. Whether the vision loss which has happened in my left eye can be resolved immediately to a certain extent or treatment may bring it the normal vision later. Regards Santosh Jaiswal

It's not a malignant tumour. Neuro  surgeon will perform it through nose and as the còmpression will release there will be automatic recovery of vision ,proportionate to damage already occured . Get the surgery done. Wish you all the best.
