Placenta partially covering OS
My NT scan towards the end of 12 weeks shows placenta partially covering OS, posterior. Is this common? Doctor says it might go up later, but I'm confused whether I can do walking or other exercises. What precautions should be taken and can any exercise cure this?

This finding at 12weeks is common. Just take precaution, not to travel & lift weight. Avoid constipation by taking laxatives as required. In your next Sonography at 18 -20 weeks it will appear , as if it has moved up . Actually it doesn’t move , but lower part of uterus gets stretched as the pregnancy advances. It will go away gradually and at end it will be away from internal os.
