Is placenta prieva bleeding continous or on and off every month like periods? How do i know it ??!!!

Any bleeding in pregnancy should alarm you.it can cause fetal as well as maternal morbidity , sometimes mortality also .                    Placenta previa (in2&3 trimester ) can cause on &off. bleeding ,but sometimes heavy bleeding resulting in fetal demise & maternal hypotension etc
Next Steps
always in such cases should be under immediate care of the gynacologist .

avoid strenuous work .,coitus & should be nearer to your gynaecologist .

Get ultrasound done placenta if any bleeding after 7 th mon of pregnancy as the blood lost belongs to the baby and may cause severe problems in baby

Hi. You need to do a scan to diagnose Placenta praevia . There shd be no bleeding in preg .
