Hello My hb and hct was 18.20 and 54% So doctor advised to do epo test and phlebotomy of 400ml and he told to drink 3l of water My epo was 29.80 (3.2-31.9) The doctor said my epo is on higher side and my polycythemia is not primary After 1 month of phlebotomy My results were normal Do i still have polycythemia vera I don't smoke And my uric acid is 7.9 And i m currently taking aspirin 75mg

Hello , Kindly post your complete hemogram and peripheral smear report . Have you got a usg abdomen to rule out splenomegaly and JAK 2 mutation from peripheral blood ,these are essential to rule out myeloproliferative neoplasm . Do consult online if you have further queries . Regards Emmanuel Mj Md
