I have fibroadenoma since past 3 years. I haven't been operated yet.
Since past 1 week, i have noticed a flattened irregular movable lump in my breast while palpating.
There is no pain associated. Why is this so?

Is the swelling you notice now the same as the previously diagnosed fibro adenoma or is this the same one which has become bigger ( previously not palpable). If its mobile and not hurting you, and given your age - it is likely to be a fibro adenoma (benign). The treatment for this would be surgical removal. But do monitor it through regular self examination and consult a doctor if it is increasing in size or seems harder.
Next Steps
Self examination at regular intervals.

Hi,although you dint mention the size, any breast lump warrants a diagnostic modality like FNAC to be done 1st and as you are much younger,I suggest to undergo ultrasound breast rather than mammography and yes, even though it’s benign I suggest you to get it removed by surgery. No emergency though.
If the diagnosis of fibroadenoma is confirmed, and its size is small you can wait till lockdown is over. Nevertheless you have to get rid of it by operation. Don’t panic, its benign....keep track on symptoms like fever, local discharge etc
I would just ask few more history -- your age / which part of breast it is../ any family history of breast or ovary cancer in relative/ any neeple discharge..
See every history is important here for your best possible treatment..
I will only request u to see me once with all available report (if any USG and FNAC) at my clinic or visiting hospital...
I have help a lot of patients with same problem so can help u regarding your breast lump.
