Pneumonia and elevated wbc
53yr male suffering from pneumonia last week. doctor prescribed meropene IV injections that results No fever and cough but wbc 17500 neutophile 79% what is the reason?

Hello.. Well the increased wbc and the neutrophils indicate bacterial infection...I want to know it's been how many days since he has been started on injection...Secondly is he still symptomatic...Hope you understand...I need detailed history, reports as we as ongoing treatment...Thank you
