Possible Mucositius
I was diagnoised with Mucositius. No other issues apart from that. How long would the tongue take to heal completely. I am on Multivitamins(lycomerve) right now and applying Kenacort. Does this also spread on tongue before healing? The front tip of the tongue also have strange taste and also have dry mouth.

Mucositis can involve the tongue. Pl consult your doctor regarding the use of kenacort. Kenacort can predispose to fungal infection which causes altered taste sensation.

Mild form of mucositis lasts for about three to 12 days after treatment.mucositis caused by radiation therapy is more severe and last 3 to 12 week after treatment
