Possibly broken nose
A 15 pound weight dropped from a pretty good height and fell directly on my nose. It’s very swollen, bruised and I can’t tell if it’s actually still bleeding(occurred around 7 hours ago) or if it’s just dried blood left in my nose from the initial accident. Should I get this checked out?

After blunt injury to nose bleeding, swelling and pain are expected and usually resolve with or without treatment within a week. Only concern in this situation is displaced fracture of nasal bones which needs correction within a week otherwise deformity may be permanent. Consult nearby ENT specialist to get an x ray or CT scan to rule out fracture
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
