Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation
I have a large area of post inflammatory hyperpigmenration on the side of my facs. The area is red and dosen’t feel like normal skin. I have acne scarring on the other side of my face, and a little on my nose. The skin on my face is also noticeably darker than the skin on the rest of my body. I have been using a combination of topical retinoids and clindomyosin to treat it for 8 months, but they have not worked. I’m wondering how to clear up and whether I will need to bleach it, or get a peel.
