Hi doctor, I delivered a baby thru C-Section & it's my 1st pregnancy.. Now it's 1 and half months since my delivery.. I had wound infection.. doctor suggested taxim 200mg tablets with b-complex tablets for wound healing. Also Doctor suggested betadine ointment. . I used betadine ointment & Cipladine powder.. I could c some improvement. But the wound is still not getting healed up completely.. I also faced skin reaction due to using belt for tummy post delivery.. betadine ointment is very sticky. so I thought of using only powder.. which powder is good.. betadine or Cipladine or neosporin or nebasulf?? Please let me know.. also tel me how can I take care of myself to heal up the wound completely.. am breastfeeding to 1.5 months old baby. Is this medications not harmful for baby. Wat abt taxim , b-complex is tat ok to tak during breastfeeding??

The common reason for the surgical wound problems are Diabetes, obesity ( lower abdomen thick fat) and poor hygiene. If it is due to infection will respond to antibiotics. If it is due to fat it takes longer time to heal. Your case act according to your doctor. Vitamin tab you can take.
