Postherpetic neuralgia
Hello! about 20 days ago, i developed small fluid filled blisters on my wrist which grew in size and started fusing together. when consulted, it turned out to be Herpes zoster. now those blisters are drying but i have an ebbing pain every now and then in my wrist and palm. i read that its PHN. is it temporary or life long? pls answer.

Hello...PHN pain is very severe pain. There are proper medications to alleviate pain. Do not suffer pain. Consult nearest neurologist or pain clinic.
