Breastfed babies have softer stools as compared to top fed ones. Passing stools daily is not important at this age,but consistency is,which should be soft and formed. A gap of 16 days is pretty long, and if accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or abdominal distension or dullness and refusal to feed, needs to be evaluated by your paediatrician.
