His doctor is prescribing a minus 4 power after obtaining a computer assisted power of -4.25.
He justifies that the computer always shows 0.25 more.
But, my friend feels comfortable with minus 4.5 power.
Which one should I suggest him to go through and why the doc prescribes him under powered glasses?

Hello... That's is common ... Doctor always prescribed under powered spectacles that's called undercorrection... There is no problem in wearing undercorrected glasses but you cannot wear over corrected glasses.... Go with opthamologist advice, see if you are comfortable with those spectacles..
