It has negligible addictive potential. It has sedative effects which should be kept in consideration when starting as you should avoid driving after taking it. Once body gets used to its sedative effects and you don't feel dizzy with your usual dose then you can, but still make sure you have someone with you. Don't drive alone.
This medication is usually prescribed for pain and anxiety.
