Pregnancy at 40 years.
Is it safe to become pregnant at 40 years.? Have 1 child 7 years with c-section.  I have no disease and weight 74 kg with belly fat.   My husband 43 years has hypertension.   What are the risks ?

Pregnancy at this age may be complicated by hypertension in pregnancy, gestational diabetes, preterm labour, Anemia, genetic diseases in baby etc. Needs close monitoring Cant predict what can happen Also conceiving may be difficult due to decreasing Fertility. You can try for pregnancy but before that check your Blood sugar fasting and postprandial levels and liver function test and complete blood count Check blood pressure
