Baby girl born at 29 weeks due to placenta abruprion and respiratory distress and now 39 weeks. Still she is og tube feed. We are at home and changing the tube every 3 days. She is having 15 to 20ml via spoon in each feed total feed is 40ml (every 3hrs). Remaining we are via tube.
Feeding prenan as breastmilk is not coming.
Please advice if having 15 to 20ml is sufficient in every feed or whenever she cries. So that we can get rid of tube.

Direct breast feeding can be started after 35 weeks of Gestational age( if normal). Consult local pediatrician, and go for gradual shift to spoon feeds then breast feeding
Next Steps
consult local Pediatrician
