Pretibial myxedma
I had a hard deposit just below my left knee on the pretibial area..we may felt it like a mass but its a deposit above bone ...not on bone..i undergo a biopsy a result came as pretibial myxedma. my doc ask me to undergo thyroid tests..all my thyroid reports are normal ..tsh t4 everything was normal..he didnt undergo any furtur tests or treatment..iam 5 months pregnant now .do this affect my baby..any birth defects??

Pretibial myedema will not affect pregnancy even if you don't take medications
