Prevention and diagnosis
My mother was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in July 2015. From last few months I started to have back pain. I consulted to a physician and she asked me to go for vitamin D and CBC test. Vit D level was less than 10. I took vit D injections on her advice. Also from last three tests my calcium level is going down and it has come to 7.7 in the last report. Nowadays I feel pain in almost all the bones in my body. Also I feel tingling in my feet and palms. Multiple myeloma being a bone marrow cancer, is there any reason for me to be scared, ? Is multiple myeloma genetic? Should I go for any tests? If yes, then which are the tests I should go for? Will appreciate your response. Thanks.
