Problem in molar tooth
I had cavity in my first molar tooth. Severe pain started in the same tooth from 3 days so i went to a dentist. Then i had an x-ray for that tooth and we found that there is an accumulation of puss in the nerve of my molar tooth because of which my gum of that region has swollen and the swelling is still increasing. My dentist suggested me to have rct or tooth extraction. He suggested that with rct we "might" save your tooth. So, which option i should go for??

Hi sir...   Yes you should go for Root canal treatment... It is the best option to save your natural tooth structure.. Considering your age, Extraction is not a good option... Extraction of the molar teeth will reduce your chewing capacity to 50%... Also failure to replace the extracted tooth will also weekens the 3 neighbouring teeth...

Hi Youa should go for rct. We should try to maintain natural teeth as long as possible. And losing teeth at such an early age wont be a good option when you have a chance to save it. Thanks

Yes go for RCT. Extraction is an option only when we cannot have the tooth.
Next Steps
Get RCT done by a specialist (Endodontist)
