Protiens in urine
Sir,my father has undergone urine for protien test and the reports show 200mg|DL .protien to creatinine ratio is 1 gm%.Is it a serious problem?can u tell me the normal values.

Is your father a diabetic or hypertensive? Increased proteins in urine, is suggestive of some kind of damage to the kidney... Kindly consult a doctor in your area so he can do some more tests like renal function tests, etc. To look into the cause of this matter.
