For psoriasis it is important to examine the patient to see the extent and thickness of the lesions..depending on the severity it is decided by the dermatologist whether topical or oral medication can help..few blood tests are required prior to starting oral medication
So you should visit a qualified dermatologist before you consider starting an oral drug.
